Stubby Plungers – Steel are compact spring plungers that offer greater travel than ball plungers and less travel than standard plungers. They provide considerable plunger travel and high end forces for restricted space applications including indexing, detents, electrical contacts and part positioning. Features include a case hardened plunger, wear and corrosion resistance, intermediate travel, tolerance for some side loading and screwdriver installation. Available in ANSI thread sizes 8-32 through 5/8-11 and metric M4 x 0.7 through M16 x 2.0 with steel nose or stainless steel nose options, standard or light end forces and thread lock options.
